TERMS & CONDITIONS

STUDIO GUIDELINES

  • 100% payment is due at the time of booking.

  • Fees for additional time not billed during the initial booking will be due at the end of the rental period.

  • Rental rates apply between the hours of 9 am - 9 pm. Any overtime outside of these hours increases to $112.50 per hour.

  • FRYME rental time includes load-in, setup, tear down and cleaning. The studio must be cleaned and vacated by the scheduled end and no later; please consider this when booking your rental.

  • The client is responsible for using their entire rental time. Any unused time or delay is forfeited.

  • We charge a $200 minimum cleaning fee for a filthy studio and large groups or production crews exceeding eight people. Additional charges may apply.

  • Any damage made to CYC WALL will result in the client covering the total cost of repair.

  • Please respect our COVID-19 protocols.

  • Smoking, including e-cigarettes or vaping, is not allowed in the studio.

  • There are no children allowed in the studio (unless being photographed or filmed)

  • Pornographic photography/filming is not allowed.

  • Pets are prohibited, except for service pets. You must show proof of service and always keep the pet on a leash.

  • The studio is available for rent seven days a week and after hours at a premium rate. FRYME Studios’ standard hourly rental rate is from 9 am – 9 pm, Monday-Saturday. Should your booking be scheduled on Sundays or Holidays, $25 will be added to your bill.

  • Any Client renting the studio space must be present for the entire duration.

  • Any music played in FRYME STUDIOS is to be kept at reasonable levels.

  • The use of illegal substances or under the influence of alcohol will not be allowed in the studio.

  • FRYME allows a max of 10 people in the renter’s party. All parties must wear a mask, except for the filmed or photographed subject.

  • Any unused time is non-refundable.

  • When renting one of our computer workstations, the user is responsible for providing their storage solution.

  • If you plan to pre-book overtime outside your booking time, FRYME must be notified 24 hours in advance.

  • Any materials such as glitter, sand, hair, water or similar are not permitted on the cyc wall to avoid a $125 cleaning fee. Additional fees may be applied.

STUDIO EQUIPMENT

  • The CYC lights are left off. They can be pre-lit for your session for $75

  • The Cyclorama (CYC) wall will be rented as-is. We can apply a fresh coat of paint at your request for $80.

  • All other gear will be accessible to rent for your session. Please see a team member asking about renting additional equipment.

  • You are responsible for your setup and breakdown.

  • A rental fee for any stand, apple box, V-flat, or modifier (softboxes or other umbrellas), will be billed if rented during a session. Please speak with a studio representative first if you need to rent anything after your session has begun. You may not use any studio gear if it hasn’t been rented.

  • When renting one of our computer workstations, the user is responsible for providing their storage solution.

PODCAST EQUIPMENT

  • Basic Podcast rental does not include storage, laptops, editing or engineering.

  • The client owns all rights to their recordings.

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING

  • We offer a FULL studio credit for cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled rental.

  • We offer NO refund/credit for cancellations made fewer than 48 hours before the scheduled rental.

  • We charge a 25% reschedule fee if the notice is less than 48 hours before the scheduled rental.

MEMBERSHIP POLICY

  • All members have access to the lounge area if they own mobile workstations. For example, using iPads, tablets, or laptops can benefit our reliable and fast internet.

  • Memberships must be completed in person and are active immediately.

  • Probable members must complete the application below.

  • Members must be 18+

  • There is only one person per membership.

  • Bring a valid government photo ID.

  • Bring a credit or debit card (MUST match photo ID for security purposes)

  • You will sign your contract during sign-up.

  • Please read studio policies before arrival.

  • Use of any workstation requires your storage device.

  • Contract Auto-renews until cancelled

  • Members are billed on the same date every week /month/qtr/year (except holidays or weekends). The total excludes taxes.

  • We reserve the right to deny any membership application.

ADDITIONAL POLICY

SHOOTING TIME / ADDITIONS

The CLIENT and the COMPANY agree that cooperation and punctuality are essential to accomplish the goals and wishes of all parties. Rental commences at the scheduled start and ends at the scheduled end time. If the CLIENT does not arrive at the appointed time for the EVENT(S), shooting will commence at the scheduled start time and end at the scheduled end time. The CLIENT will be billed for additional time beyond the expected end time. 

SAFETY

The COMPANY reserves to right to terminate the rental of the EVENT(S) if the photographer, videographer or staff experiences inappropriate, threatening, hostile or offensive behaviour from person(s) at the EVENT(S); or if the safety of the staff from the COMPANY is in question.

RESERVATION OF RIGHTS

All rights not expressly granted hereunder are reserved to The COMPANY, including but not limited to all rights in unedited or edited photos/videos or other materials unless otherwise indicated.

PAYMENT

When signing a rental agreement Client will pay 100% of the cost. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Until we receive a request to cancel your membership, members remain responsible for all dues.

You have the right to cancel your membership after the initial one-week or four-week period. You may cancel your membership by emailing bookings@frymestudios.com.

BOOKING CANCELLATIONS 

To cancel your booking, send an email to bookings@frymestudios.com, including the name on the booking, date, and time. We do not reschedule reserved studio times.

Cancellation Times are from the start time of the booking. We calculate percentages on the total amount of bookings.

More than 15 Days Notice  - 100% account credit

More than 7 Days Notice - 50% account credit

Within 48 hours Notice - No account credit

We may terminate your membership without notice for any reason if our belief that continued use of such membership would violate any part of this agreement or applicable law or otherwise be harmful to our interests. In the event of any such termination, you will not receive a refund.

HEALTH

The COMPANY requests that the clients are in good health and are prepared to take on some physical challenges on shoots. If you have a medical condition, please inform The COMPANY before shooting. The COMPANY assumes no responsibility for any mishaps or accidents on photoshoots.

AGE

The COMPANY requests that clients are legally over the age of 18; if not, this contract must be signed by a parent or guardian giving the subject permission to be shot in the way of the service provider (The COMPANY). If CLIENTS are not over 18 and sign this agreement without consent from a guardian, this agreement is null and void.
