RESERVE FRYME

WHEN CAN I RENT THE STUDIO?

FRYME Studios is available for rent seven days a week. The standard rental rate applies to rentals Monday-Sunday from 9 am – 9 pm. Evening rentals are available as well for an additional fee.

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK FRYME?

All studio bookings require a signed rental agreement and FULL non-refundable payment.

HOW MUCH TIME CAN I RENT THE STUDIO FOR?

There is a two-hour minimum for any hourly studio rental. We offer full-day and weekend/evening rental options as well. Visit our rentals page for more info.

HOW DO I RESERVE MY SPACE?

FRYME Studios has taken the guesswork out of booking a space. Simply use our Bookings page to submit your request, pay and receive email + SMS confirmation of your reservation. It’s quick and easy!


HOW DO I CONFIRM MY RESERVATION?

Once we receive your payment/deposit through our payment portal, you will receive confirmation via SMS or email. We accept cashless payments only.

CAN I BOOK SAME-DAY RESERVATIONS?

At FRYME, we accept bookings on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once space is available, you are more than welcome to book. We do recommend booking at least 72 hours in advance.

CAN I PREVIEW THE SPACE BEFORE BOOKING?

If a studio representative is on location, the preview is free. If not, you can schedule a consultation for $99.

HOW ARE CANCELLATIONS HANDLED?

You may reschedule your session within 48 hours of your booking one time without penalty. Once a rep from FRYME confirms your rescheduled booking, you will receive a confirmation via email. Otherwise, 25% of your booking fee will be issued to reschedule after the first instance. We will offer you a 30-day credit if you cannot make the new scheduled date.

CAN I ARRIVE EARLY TO SETUP MY GEAR?

Sadly, no. We’re already allocated into booking time for setup and breakdown. You must complete this yourself. Keep in mind that the studio may be booked prior to your booking and after your booking so we have to be considerate of other clients' time.

IS THERE ANYTHING I NEED TO DO AFTER THE SHOOT?

To avoid a $100 cleaning fee, the studio must be left the way it was found.

IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF PERSONS ON SET?

FRYME Studios is a compact but highly functional space. Rental rates are based on a maximum of ten (10) people on the premises at one time. If you need to accommodate a larger group, please contact us with your direct inquiry.


SHOOTING AT FRYME

DOES STUDIO RENTAL INCLUDE EQUIPMENT?

Yes, with our all-inclusive plans. We have a complete list of gear and gear packages that you may rent for whatever your creative needs are. All studio strobes, lighting gear, light modifiers, stands, etc., will be provided for use with your rental at an additional cost.

SHOULD I BRING ANYTHING?

You can bring your gear into FRYME to shoot or rent FRYME gear. We’ve got all the tools you will need. See the complete GEAR LIST.

DOES FRYME PROVIDE BACKDROPS?

We have a selection of seamless paper as well as canvas backdrops. Our seamless backdrops are 107” in width, while our canvas backdrops are 72” in width. You may rent any backdrop for your production needs.

IS THE STUDIO AREA PRIVATE OR SHARED DURING SHOOTING?

FRYME Studios is a private studio found within a shared building space. The studio is private, and renters have sole access to the entire photo studio during their rental. 

Please note, since this is a shared professional environment with offices on all sides so we ask all our renters to be respectful.

IS THERE SOMEONE IN THE STUDIO TO ASSIST WITH LIGHTING AND SETUP INSTRUCTIONS?

Yes. There is a $75 setup charge for a basic 3-point lighting setup only. If you need additional instruction while shooting, please contact us for the hourly rates if hands-on instruction is requested.

WILL I BE ABLE TO SHOOT FULL-LENGTH FRAMES AT THE STUDIO?

If you wish to shoot full-length, it is best to use a wide-angle lens in the 35mm-50mm range. A 24-70mm zoom lens is ideal for full-length shooting.

CAN I BRING MY OWN GEAR INTO FRYME?

Yes, absolutely! You are allowed to bring in your own equipment, but you are liable for any damage in the studio your equipment may cause.

DO YOU HAVE PARKING AVAILABLE?

There is ample free parking available around the studio building in a safe industrial location that features 24-hour security.


FRYME AMENITIES

DOES THE STUDIO HAVE WIFI?

Yes! The studio has high-speed WiFi that is fast and reliable and is included with your rental. 

CAN WE HAVE FOOD/REFRESHMENTS IN THE STUDIO?

Yes, however, we carry premium snacks as well as provide craft services exclusive to FRYME Studios. You can bring your own food of course if you don’t want access to our refreshments but you are responsible for ensuring the studio is left clean.

DO YOU HAVE A CLOTHING RACK

Yes, there is a clothing rack available with hangers to hang clothing during your shoot.

DO YOU HAVE A MAKEUP STATIONS?

There is a small area in the corner of the studio for makeup application.

IS THERE A RESTROOM AVAILABLE?

Yes, there is a private single-person unisex restroom.

IS THERE A SOUND SYSTEM AVAILABLE IN THE STUDIO?

We love music and so we’ve outfitted the studio with a sound system. However, for your convenience, we’ve added Bluetooth speakers for rent as well.

NOTE: Renters and guests must keep the volume to a respectful level. FRYME Studios exists in a professional office building and there are neighbours on all sides.

DO YOU CATER?

Yes! FRYME Studios works closely with our preferred vendor Lil Eats to provide catering and craft services for your clients and team. Please see our CRATE + CRAFT page for a list of craft services.
